Trays can be removed by inserting a flat

bladed screwdriver between the tray and the

mounting bracket. Twist the screwdriver to

remove tray from bracket.

Tray Splicing with Buffer Tubes

Start with the lowest tray, route fibers needed

for splicing to the splice tray. Open hinged

door on tray and snap transition tubing into

Fiber Optic Splice Tray 2539. Secure

transition tube with a tie wrap when using

™

Fiber Optic Splice Tray 2540. Complete

splicing before adding the next tray. Re-close

door.

Place one wrap of 3M

Scotchmate

™

Hook-

and-Loop Reclosable Fastener around the

buffer tube approximately 0.25" (6 mm) from

the end of the buffer tube.

13.9

To finish, thread a tie wrap through the corners

of each tray and secure to tray basket.
