Class 2 Flow Control
Flow control is necessary to match the DTE-DCE data rate to the line-signaling rate
while transmitting or receiving Group 3 (T.4) data. In Class 2 fax mode, both
hardware (RTS/CTS) and software (XON/XOFF) flow control are enabled.
