4.4.1 Block Preparaton

Warninn!

If tte parafn swells ttrougt tte botom or tte sides of tte plastc cassete, cut of tte

excess parafn before insertng tte block into tte main unit.

Warninn!

Working on extra tard tssues (for example, not decalcifed) may end up breaking tte
puncter needle.

Important!

To ensure tte good quality of recipient blocks, make sure ttat tte top surfaces of bott,

recipient and donor blocks are parallel to tte plastc botom of tte cassetes, and ttere
are no dents or cavites in tte parafn layer.

If any defect is visible, cut tte top layer of tte block to make it even, otterwise
embedded cores may be damaged afer creaton (for example, tte top secton of tte

core is stcks out of tte parafn block, ttat can be easily broken down).
