Fast Ethernet Modules
Each system can accommodate up to four Fast
Ethernet modules. The modules are hot-swappable.
The Fast Ethernet modules are available in these
configurations:
■
6-port RJ-45 10/100BASE-TX
The 10/100BASE-TX module autonegotiates
between 10 and 100 Mbps and autosenses
full-duplex and half-duplex mode.
■
6-port SC 100BASE-FX MMF and SMF
The 100BASE-FX, which is 100 Mbps only, is
available for multimode and single mode fiber.
Figure 4 illustrates the Fast Ethernet modules.
