European directives and the German Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) state that you cannot
dispose of your old device or any of the electronic parts
included in the delivery in your household waste. The
symbol shown means that the old device and the electronic parts
supplied with it must be disposed of separately from domestic
waste, so they can be recycled. Please help in this matter and
do your bit to help the environment by not disposing of your
old device or any of the included electronic components in your
household waste.
After use, please bring old devices and electronic parts that are
less than 25 centimetres in length to your local waste disposal
site for old electrical and electronic devices or to a collection point
provided by our disposal partner Interseroh, so they can be dispo-
sed of properly and in an environmentally friendly way. For more

You can also take regular quantities of old devices and electronic
components that are over 25 centimetres in length to your local
waste disposal site for old electrical and electronic devices.
When purchasing a new device from 1&1, you can hand in an old
device of the same kind to our disposal partner Interseroh. Simply
take along the disposal ticket included with the delivery of your
new 1&1 device.
You can hand in your old device to Interseroh up to 6 weeks from
the date you purchased the new 1&1 device. Once this period has
elapsed, the Interseroh collection point is no longer obligated to
accept your old device.
Disposal is free of charge. Please delete all personal information
from the device before you dispose of it.
