The HE2-50M uses only two cost effective CAT5/6 cables to extend your HDTV display up to 164ft (50m) at 1080p, with high
quality uncompressed video, it delivers significant value to the entire home and commercial entertainment system. This HDMI
extender only needs one power supply connected at the receiver side. For a closer TV installation, use the included USB
power cable that will pull power directly from your display device. Easy setup and optimal signal, Auto EQ level and Auto
EDID, no dials or dip switches to adjust.

Connection and Operation:
Before installation, please make sure all devices you are connecting are turned off.
1)
Connect your source to the transmitter extender using an HDMI cable
2)
Connect your display to the receiver extender using an HDMI cable
3)
Connect up to 164ft (50m) CAT5/6 cable from the transmitter extender to the receiver extender
4)
Connect the 5VDC power supply or USB power cable to the receiver extender
5)
Turn on your source and display, then check extender input/output status lights

Note:
In limited space applications a special USB power cable (Included) can be used which will pull USB power from the TV or source
component instead of using supplied power supply. This extender will require an

IR Receiver and IR Blaster
(IR-RXTX Kit)
for
the IR control function to work.
Transmission Range:
If connection is through a wall jack (not recommended), this could limit the full transmission distance
between the Transmitter and Receiver Extender. We recommended using a straight CAT5/6 cable with RJ45 connections on
each end.
