How to use your ZiPP Desk™

Congratulations on your purchase of a ZiPP Desk™.

The ZiPP Desk™ has been designed and developed to revolutionise

the way you work and we believe it's one of the easiest ways to

improve your productivity and health.

With that in mind, we've focussed on three core aims:

1) We want to keep you moving at work.

2) We want to provide you with the best possible ergonomic

set up for both sitting and standing.

3) We want to improve your health and wellbeing without you having to think too

much about it.

So how long should I sit or stand?

Most people use a sit to stand workstation incorrectly - believing if they stand all day they'll somehow cure everything from
diabetes, high cholesterol and heart disease. The fact of the matter is that sitting, standing and moving all have a beneficial effect
if done the right way.

Research on sit to stand workstations can vary and there is no ultimate guide as to exactly how long we should stand for - but one
thing is clear - too much sitting is bad, too much standing is bad and lack of movement (sedentary lifestyle) is certainly bad.

So just as you should not sit all day, you should also avoid standing all day. Therefore the ZiPP Desk™ should be used in its lowest,
or sitting position,

roughly

75% of the time. The remaining 25% being used for standing and moving. Some people prefer more

while some people prefer less. Listen to your body and you'll find the sit/stand/move mix that's right for you.

As a

rough

guide you should sit for 30-45 minutes

max, then stand for 5-15 minutes. Just remember
to mix it up, listen to your body and move!
