TRIMMER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.

WARNING

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 14 years and above and 

    persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience 

    and knowledge in they have been given supervision or instruction, by a person 

    responsible for their safety, concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and  

    understands the hazards involved. Children should be supervised to ensure that 

    they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be 

    made by children without supervision.

2. Use this trimmer only for its intended use, as described in this manual.  

3. Do not use this trimmer with a damaged or broken blade, as injury 

    may occur.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

BATTERY INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT (Fig. 1)

1. Remove battery compartment cover from bottom of trimmer by

    sliding it off.

2. Insert one AA alkaline battery into trimmer as shown.

3. Replace battery compartment cover to its original position.

NOTE: 

To maximize battery life, trimmer should be shut “OFF-O”

immediately after each use.

4. When discarding an old battery, do not throw it into fire where 

    heat could cause it to rupture or explode. Also, do not attempt 

    to recharge alkaline, heavy-duty, or lithium batteries in a battery 

    charger. Remove the exhaused batteries from the appliance, and 

    dispose of used batteries promptly.

5. Risk of fire and burns. Do not recharge, disassemble or 

    incinerate. Keep battery out of reach of children. Dispose of used

    batteries promptly.

6. Different types of batteries (alkaline, standard, rechargeable, etc.) or 

new and used 

    batteries are not to be mixed.

7. If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the

    batteries should be removed.

8. The battery terminals are not to be short-circuited.

This appliance is for household use only.

OILING BLADES

For best results, put one or two drops of Wahl Clipper Oil on the blades in the areas shown 

in Fig. 2. Oil the blades only when necessary or approximately once a month. When oiling 

your trimmer, turn the trimmer “ON-I,”

hold the unit with the blades facing DOWN and squeeze one or two 

drops of oil onto the blades. Wipe off excess oil with soft cloth. 

NOTICE—DO NOT OVER OIL! 

Excessive oiling or application of liquids will cause 

damage if allowed to seep back into motor. 

CLEANING/STORAGE

Use the cleaning brush to whisk any loose hairs from the unit and the blades. Store unit in 

such a manner so that blades are protected from damage.

BLADES

 

The Wahl Easy Trimmer comes equipped with a #40 blade which has a cutting length of 

1/32” (8mm). This trims very close to the skin so please proceed with caution.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

If your Wahl product fails to operate satisfactorily within one (1) year from the date of 

original purchase or receipt as gift, Wahl will, at our option, repair or replace it and 

return it to you FREE OF CHARGE. Our warranty does not cover blades, which are 

“wear out” parts. Please mail your product prepaid to:

Attention: 

Products out of warranty will be repaired at our standard repair charges.

This warranty is void and no repair or replacement will be made under this

warranty or otherwise if:

1. The product is modified in any manner.

2. The product is repaired by anyone other than Wahl Clipper Corporation or a Wahl  

    Clipper Corporation Authorized Service Center.

3. The product has been subject to unreasonable use. 

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may 

vary from state to state. No other written express warranty is given. Any implied warranty, 

including any warranty of merchantability, which may arise from purchase or use, is limited 

to the one-year period in this express warranty. Some states may not allow such limitation, 

so it may not apply to you. 

No responsibility is assumed for incidental or consequential damages of any type, or the 

use of unauthorized attachments. Some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of 

incidental or consequential damages, so the limitation or exclusion may not apply to you
