Toshiba is proud to announce the release of the IP

edge

 EP

 

system as the newest member of the IP

edge

 

family of pure IP systems. The IP

edge

 EP system delivers big-company features at an affordable price for 

small businesses and branch locations. Like the other IPedge systems, the IP

edge

 EP system performs 

call processing, voice mail, unified messaging, and media processing which includes conferencing and 
paging, centralized management, Call Manager unified communications, and more. IP

edge

 EP system 

uses Red Hat

®

 Enterprise Linux

®

 5.4 operating system that provides a high level of scalability and 

security. 

The IP

edge

 EP system (shown below) is easy to install. The IP

edge

 EP system supports applications for 

up to 40 users.

The IP

edge

 EP system can be set on a shelf or table horizontally or vertically using an optional base 

(shown below). It can also be installed on a standard 19” rack using the optional rack-mount kit.

 EP system can also connect to a MAS or MicroMAS to run ACD and TASKE, and it can connect to 

uMobility and other external applications.

Networking between IP

edge

 servers and/or Strata® CIX™ systems is enabled via IP

edge

 Net using one
