HEXIBOW

The crossover layout of this particular tent, being of a hexagonal (6 sided) design you will note that there
are 2 sets of frames joined by thin ski rope connections. the two sets are in turn joined by a central single
spring steel piece which forms two crowns when erected. The 2 sets are to match either of the two
triangular ends of the tent itself. (see diagram below)

Tent & Frame assembly

Fly Sheet

1. Lay out the tent on the ground and allow the door opening to face the desired direction and peg the corners
2. Open the door, fold back the material to expose groundsheet and allow entry when clipping tent to frame.
3. Assemble complete frame and lay it flat over the tent (see diagram)
4. First place frame ends into inner webbing eyelets number 1, 2 and 3
5. Approach the opposite side of the tent (5 and 6) and holding the ends gently begin walking the frame up.
Simultaneously with pole end 4 your assistant repeats the same.
6. Standing in the door opening pick up the tent ridge and whilst pulling the frame down clip the S-hooks onto
the frame. Complete the centre piece by clipping all the S-hooks on.
7. Clip the top 3 or 4 S-hooks of each of the six legs onto the frame, then walk around the outside of the tent
and clip the remaining S-hooks to each leg in turn.

1. The flysheet is a skullcap configuration where the six leg pieces match the six legs of the springsteel frame
Each leg is fastened by means of J-hooks which are clipped to the ski rope connecting the frame.
2. Fit the skullcap over the frame taking care not to hook the material on the frame or hooks.
3. The verandah is erected with the upright poles with the longer pole going in the centre eyelet and the two
     shorter poles on the sides.
4. In strong wind it is recommended to secure the tent with extra guy ropes
