Projecting with the Conversion
Lens
Refer to the instruction manual of the LCD projector
for detail.
1 Project the image.
2 Adjust the focus.
Adjust the focus by turning the FOCUS ring of the
LCD projector.
Notes
• The best focus position is the position where the
meshes of the projected image surface can be seen
clearly.
• The corners of the image may be out of foucus in
accordance with the projection size.

Thank you for purchasing the Sony VCL-CPJ07 Wide
Conversion Lens. By attaching this conversion lens to
a Sony LCD projector, you can shorten the projecting
distance by 25 per cent compared with projecting the
same sized image onto the screen without using the
conversion lens.
Before operating the unit, please read this manual
throughly and retain it for future reference.
Attaching to the LCD projector
1 Remove the lens caps from front and rear.
2 Attach the lens to the LCD projector and screw it
in firmly.

FOCUS ring
Precautions
• Attach the conversion lens to the LCD projector
gently to avoid damaging the lens and unit.
• Remove the conversion lens when carrying the LCD
projector.
• This conversion lens can not be attached to the lens
filter or the hood.
Cleaning of the Lens
To remove dust from the lens, use a blower brush or a
soft cleaning brush. To remove fingerprints or
smudges, clean with mild detergent and a soft cloth.
The optional Sony KK-P8 is also recommended.
