How it Works:

PetSafe’s

®

 Heated Wellness Pad

has an electronic thermostat that cycles

on and off to maintain perfect dual temperatures and reduces energy
consumption. When your pet is enjoying the pad, it provides therapeutic
warmth and Heated Wellness. You control the temperature your pet
experiences by selecting which side of the pad is facing upward. When
your pet wants a little warmth and comfort, place the pad with the yellow
label side facing up (typically, 90˚F). When your pet needs greater warmth
and therapeutic comfort, place the pad with the red label side facing up
(typically, 102˚F).

Set-up Instructions:

Unzip the Heated Wellness Pad

cover. Change the pad as needed so that

the desired temperature side faces upward: yellow side for low-warmth
or red side for high-warmth. The non-skid bottom of the cover should
face down. Place the covered pad in an area where your pet likes to rest.
Properly plug in the power cord to a standard polarized wall outlet. Turn
on the pad by pushing the (|) symbol side of the switch. Zip the cover
around the pad securely. Now the Heated Wellness Pad

 is ready for use.

Switch off your Heated Wellness Pad

by pushing the (0) symbol side of

the switch and unplug when not in use. Use indoor only.

ATTENTION: Read Before Using

PetSafe

®

pet bed warmers are designed to deliver continuous low levels of

heat to supplement your pet’s own body heat. Low levels of heat enable
your pet to enjoy using the warmer for several hours at a time.
Do not expect this product to feel warm to the touch. Temperatures that
feel warm to you are too warm for extended use by your pet.

How  to Test Your Warmer  is Working  Properly:

1. Assemble the product according to the instructions and plug it into a

standard wall outlet.

2.  Wrap product in a blanket to capture the heat produced.
3. Wait 30 minutes.
4. After 30 minutes, when you place your hand between the blanket and

the warmer, you will feel warmth generated by the warmer.

Cleaning Instructions:

Heating Unit:
1. Unplug the Heated Wellness Pad

 from the wall outlet.

2. Remove heating unit pad from cover and wipe clean with a damp cloth

or sponge.

• Do not use chemicals or detergent to clean heating unit pad.
• Do not immerse the heating unit pad or power cord in water or

other liquid.

Cover:
1. Before cleaning the cover, the heating unit must be removed.
2. Use mild detergent and machine-wash cover on gentle cycle.
3. Allow cover to air dry completely.

Extension Cord Information:

Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an
extension cord is used, the following safety requirements should
be considered:
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the

electrical rating of the Heated Wellness Pad

2. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over furniture

where it can be pulled on or tripped over. To avoid tripping always
position the heating unit power cord and extension cord out of the path
of foot traffi c.

3. Never allow your pet to chew on the extension cord.
