The Peli

Products L1 LED is a close-quarter use torch designed to
provide the user with extended battery and lamp life over traditional
incandescent torches.
Operation
Pressing the rubber button on the rear of the torch turns on the L1
LED torch. To turn off the Torch, simply press the button again.
Battery Replacement
The L1 LED torch uses four LR44 1.5V Alkaline coin cells. Any similar
size 1.5V silver oxide or lithium cell will work in the L1 LED torch.
To replace the batteries:
1. Unscrew the Lens Cover Assembly and remove the LED/Battery
Tray assembly.
2. Remove the used batteries and replace the cells as per the decal
located in the battery tray (i.e. Positive end closest to the switch).
3. Carefully slide the LED/Battery tray back into the body and
replace the lens cover assembly.
LENS DISC INSTALLATION
The colored discs are designed
to enable the torch to be used without affecting night vision. The
discs fit inside the torch in between the reflector and the lens cover.
To Install:
1. Remove the lens cover and reflector.
2. Remove the clear disc and replace with the desired color disc
inside the lens cover.
3. Refit the reflector and lens cover.
LED Lamp Replacement
The L1 LED lamp is non-replaceable as it has been designed to
provide upwards of 10,000 hours of usage. If you experience a
problem with the LED, please return the torch for repair under
Peli Products warranty program.
LIGHT OUTPUT
The light output from the L1 light will become noticeably diminished if
the torch is left turned on for a period of time longer than 45 minutes.
The L1 is best suited for short periods of time as it allows the batter-
ies to recover their voltage and provide a bright beam of light.
Battery Safety Bulletin Alkaline Batteries
1. Hazardous location safety approvals for explosive environments
are only valid for the specified cell type manufacturer and, where
applicable, brand names that are displayed on the torch and/or
instructions sheets that are supplied with the light.
2. The use of other battery technologies may reduce the
performance of the the torch.
Always read the battery manufacturers recommendations for the
appropriate use of the battery technology/brand prior to using
them in the torch.
3. When replacing the batteries:
a. Replace all the batteries at the same time.
b. Do not mix battery brands and old and new batteries.
c. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity
(+ and -) marked on the battery and equipment.

Products es una linterna de corto
alcance diseñada para ofrecer prolongada duración de las pilas y
bombilla sobre las linternas incandescentes tradicionales.
Funcionamiento
Para encender la linterna L1 LED, presione el botón de caucho
en la parte posterior de la linterna. Para apagar la linterna, vuelva a
presionar el botón.
Cambio de pilas
La linterna L1 LED utiliza cuatro pilas alcalinas tipo moneda LR44 de
1,5V. Cualquier otra pila del mismo tamaño de óxido de plata o litio
de 1,5V funcionará en la linterna L1 LED.
Para cambiar las pilas:
1. Desenrosque el ensamblaje de tapa de el lente y quite el
ensamblaje de la bandeja de las pilas/LED.
2. Quite las pilas gastadas y reemplácelas tal como indica la
calcomanía de la bandeja de las pilas (es decir, el extremo
positivo más cerca del interruptor)
3. Cuidadosamente, deslice la bandeja de las pilas/LED en el cuerpo
de la linterna y vuelva a colocar el ensamblaje de tapa de el lente.
INSTALACIÓN DEL DISCO DE EL LENTE
Los discos de color están diseñados para que el uso de las
linternas no afecte la visión nocturna. Los discos se encajan dentro
de la linterna entre el reflector y la tapa de el lente.
Instalación:
1. Quite la tapa de el lente y el reflector.
2. Quite el disco transparente y vuelva a colocar el disco del color
deseado dentro de la tapa de el lente.
3. Vuelva a ajustar el reflector y la tapa de el lente.

OTRO MEDIO. En caso de reclamación por daños, en ningún caso la responsabilidad de Pelican
para con el comprador excederá el precio de compra del producto objeto de la reclamación.
Para formular una reclamación de garantía, el comprador deberá ponerse en contacto con
Pelican Products, Inc. a la dirección 23215 Early Avenue, Torrance, CA 90505 o enviar un
correo electrónico a [email protected]. El comprador deberá formular la reclamación de
garantía lo antes posible. El comprador deberá solicitar al servicio de atención al cliente de
Pelican un número de autorización de devolución antes de devolver el producto.
En el caso de que Pelican determine que el producto devuelto no está defectuoso, en virtud
de los términos estipulados en la presente garantía, el comprador deberá abonar a Pelican
todos los costes correspondientes a manipulación, transporte y reparaciones, según las tarifas
vigentes de Pelican.
Las reclamaciones de garantía de cualquier clase se considerarán nulas en caso de que la
linterna haya sufrido alteraciones, daños o modificaciones físicas de cualquier tipo, o bien se
haya hecho un mal uso, un uso abusivo, o haya sufrido negligencias o accidentes.
La exclusión o limitación anterior puede no aplicarse en su caso dado que algunos estados
no contemplan la exclusión o la limitación de daños consecuentes o incidentales. La presente
garantía le confiere derechos legales específicos, pero puede tener otros derechos, que
variarán según el estado.
La garantía de por vida no cubre los productos rotomoldeados ni los productos del AALG.

Pour déposer une demande de prise en charge sous garantie, l’acheteur doit contacter Pelican

prise en charge sous garantie sera déposée par l’acheteur dès que possible. Avant de retourner

Pelican. Au cas où Pelican considérerait qu’un produit retourné n’est pas défectueux, selon les
conditions de la présente garantie, l’acheteur remboursera Pelican de tous les frais de manipula-
tion, transport et réparation aux taux en vigueur de Pelican.
Toute demande de prise en charge sous garantie, de quelque nature que ce soit, sera refusée
si la torche a été modifiée, endommagée ou physiquement changée d’une façon ou d’une
autre ou encore sujette à un traitement abusif, une mauvaise utilisation, une négligence ou
un accident.
Certains États n’autorisent pas l’exclusion ou la limitation des dommages accessoires ou indi-
rects, de telle sorte que la limitation ou l’exclusion mentionnée ci-dessus peut ne pas s’appliquer
dans votre cas. La présente garantie vous donne des droits légaux spécifiques et vous pouvez
bénéficier d’autres droits, variables d’un État à l’autre.

Einige Staaten lassen den Ausschluss oder die Beschränkung versehentlicher oder nachfolgen-

möglicherweise nicht auf Sie zu. Diese Garantie gewährt Ihnen spezifische gesetzliche Rechte
und Sie haben möglicherweise weitere Rechte, die von Land zu Land abweichen können.
Die Qualitätsgarantie deckt keine rotationsgegossenen oder AALG Produkte ab.
