INDICATIONS FOR USE:

•  EASE-IN-SHIELDS solve the problem of how to quickly and efficiently protect your eyesight when using lasers.
•  EASE-IN-SHIELDS have been designed to fit small, medium and large face types and loupes, as well as curved or flat frames. They work with

both through-the-lens (TTL) and flip-up style loupes. EASE-IN-SHIELDS may also be worn with reading, prescription or safety glasses.

•  EASE-IN-SHIELDS were designed to fit the vast majority of face types and sizes. As such, please be aware that your fit may vary in a number of

ways depending on your facial structure and loupe design.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

•  BEFORE EACH USE - Ensure the wavelength imprinted on your EASE-IN-SHIELDS matches the wavelength of the beam being transmitted by your laser.

Each wavelength requires a different type of protective eye wear. If the wavelength at which your laser operates is not the same as the wavelength

imprinted on your shield, you must select different eye wear protection as your shield will NOT provide adequate protection to your eyes.

•  BEFORE EACH USE - Inspect your EASE-IN-SHIELDS for damage. Scratched or cracked shields may permit the laser beam to reach the eye directly

and should not be used.

•  BEFORE EACH USE - Make sure your EASE-IN-SHIELDS are properly seated between your face and your eye wear frame.

WARNINGS:

•  These instructions for use must be read before using your EASE-IN-SHIELDS. The human eye is extremely sensitive to laser radiation. THE FAILURE

TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAN RESULT IN BLINDNESS OR OTHER SEVERE AND PERMANENT DAMAGE TO YOUR EYES.

•  NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY INTO A LASER BEAM EVEN WHEN WEARING YOUR EASE-IN-SHIELDS. Your shield is designed to only protect against incidental

exposure from stray or diffused reflection of the laser beam’s energy.

•  YOUR EASE-IN-SHIELDS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE OPERATING YOUR LASER. All people in the room with the laser must wear wavelength-specific

protective eye wear.

PRECAUTIONS:

•  DO NOT attempt to place EASE-IN-SHIELDS on loupes NOT being worn as they can slip off the frame and become damaged.
•  DO NOT modify EASE-IN-SHIELDS without prior approval from the manufacturer.
•  DO NOT clean laser eye wear with abrasive cloths or liquids.
