Atlas Advance Safety Belt
Product Description & Intended Purpose
The Atlas Advance Safety Belt is designed to provide support to the user of the Atlas Advance Transfer Aid
over short distance transfers. It may also be used by two carers to assist the user rising from or lowering
into a seated position, provided a suitable risk assessment is completed.
The user must be able to support their own weight and maintain balance for prolonged periods of time.

Wide Velcro fastening.
Colour coded fixing points.
Installation Information: (Note: for detailed information refer to User Instructions)
Position belt around the waist of the user and fasten the Velcro.
Attach the fixing straps to the buttons on the transfer aid handle.
Safety Precautions
Do not exceed the maximum user weight of 155Kg (24st).
Always perform a risk assessment prior to use.
NRS recommend using the safety belt at all times for transfers over distances > 1—2 metres.
Do not leave the user unattended when using the product.
Do not leave in an area with unsupervised children present.
Only for use with the Atlas Advance Transfer Aid.
