INSTRUCTIONS FOR BURIED GROUND LIGHTS
The Mira buried ground light must be installed by qualified personnel following carefully the instructions given and
in strict compliance to the standards and regulations in force regarding electrical installation.
1) Good drainage must be created for the luminaire (between 25 and 30 cm of gravel) to avoid the
accumulation of water at the bottom of the well.
2) The connection of the luminaire should be done with flexible cable ie. HO5RN-F or HO7RN-F.
This
makes maintenance easier and prevents strain of the cable clamp during installation. 2 metres of HO7RN-F cable
is supplied with the luminaire.
INSTALLATION AND LAMP REPLACEMENT AND CLEANING (important)
3) Never carry out any of the above in the rain or fog.
4) To remove glass use a flat screwdriver or sucker only.
5) Turn the luminaire on before closing and leave for about two hours in order to dry to prevent
condensation from depositing on the inside of the glass.
6) Clean the gaskets, glass, threaded holes and screws well ( the screws should be lightly oiled). It is also
essential that the base on which the gasket lies is perfectly clean.
7) Install or change the lamp following carefully the manufacturer’s instructions regarding wattage and lamp type.
8)Carefully follow the instructions regarding the assembly of the glass respecting the direction of the optics in the
case of asymmetric versions.
9) Tighten the screws in a star pattern (top left – bottom right etc.) using a suitable tool.
10) Ensure that the glass is clean and free from debris.
ATTENTION: the glass must be replaced immediately if broken, cracked or worn. This also applies to
the gasket.
To guarantee mechanical, electrical and photometric performance, it is necessary to follow precisely the above
recommendations at every lamp change or whenever the luminaire is open for maintenance purposes.
In the case of areas where there is a high level of pollution or saline atmosphere ie. near the sea, it is necessary
to pay particular attention to cleaning.
RECOMMENDATIONS - in case of problems before informing the producer:
A)
Water ingress:
Condensation:
- follow carefully points 4-11 above .
Water Seepage:
- Check the cable clamp tighten and reposition.
- Check that the power supply cable is of the correct flexible type and not
rigid.
B)
Overheating: verify deterioration of reflector and electrical components
.
- Verify the supply voltage.
- Verify that the luminaire has been installed according to manufacturer’s instructions
regarding gravel.
ATTENTION:
- if the tension is 10% higher than recommended, the temperature will be
increased by 20 degrees hence halving the duration of the electrical
components of the luminaire.
- Installation into earth or peat causes a notable increase to the inside
temperature of the luminaire.

ANLEITUNG FÜR DIE MONTAGE UND DIE PFLEGE DER EINBAULEUCHTEN
Die Einbauleuchten Mira müssen von fachkundigem Personal in Übereinstimmung mit den gültigen Vorschriften
und den Montageanleitungen installiert werden.
1)
Für alle Leuchten ist es notwendig eine gute Dränage zu erstellen (25 bis 30 cm Kiesschicht),
um die Bildung von stehendem Wasser auf dem Boden des Schachtes zu vermeiden.
2)
Die Verbindung der Leuchten muß durch flexible Kabel, wie HO5RN-F oder HO7RN-F, gemacht
werden
. Das macht die Wartung einfacher und vermeidet die Beanspruchung auf der Kabelklemme während
der Installation. 2 Meter von Kabel HO7RN-F ist montiert.
INSTALLATION DER LEUCHTE UND AUSTAUSCH DER LAMPE
3)
Bei Regen oder Nebel nicht arbeiten.
4)
Um das Glas auszutauschen, soll man einen flachen Schraubenzieher verwenden.
5)
Das Licht einschalten, wenn die Leuchte noch geöffnet ist und für ca. zwei Stunden
eingeschaltet lassen, um die Le uchte innen zu trocken und die Bildung von Kondenswasser auf
dem Glas zu vermeiden.
6)
Die Dichtungen, das Glas, die Ausschnitte und die Schrauben perfekt säubern (die Schrauben sollten auch
geölt werden).
7)
Die Lampe gemäß der Vorschrift (Leuchte, Lampe, Beleuchtung), der Spannung und der Hersteller-
Anleitung installieren oder ersetzen.
8)
Die Montageanleitung des Glases und des Ringes befolgen. Das Glas richtig einsetzen. Die Ausrichtung der
Optik beachten, wenn die Beleuchtung asymmetrisch ist.
9)
Die Schrauben kreuzweise (oben, unten, links, rechts, Quincunxstellung) befestigen. Bitte passendes
Werkzeug für die Schrauben benutzen, um die Schraubenköpfe zu schonen.
10)
Das Glas muß immer sauber sein, ohne Blätter, Sand, Verkrustungen ...
ACHTUNG: Falls das Glas gebrochen oder rissig ist, muß man das Glas und die beschädigte
oder abgenutzte Dichtung ersetzen.
Um die mechanischen, elektrischen und photometrischen Leistungen zu garantieren, ist es unabdingbar,
den Wartungsvorgang jedesmal zu machen, wenn die Lampe ersetzt wird oder die Leuchte geöffnet wird.
Ein besonderer Wartungsvorgang ist notwendig , wenn die Leuchten hoher Beanspruchung ausgesetzt
sind (sehr starke Verschmutzung , am Meer, usw.)
Wenn es Probleme gibt, prüfen Sie zuerst folgende Dinge, bevor Sie den Hersteller LANDA
bemühen
.
A)
Eindringen von Wasser
:
Kondenswasser: - Die Leuchte gut trocknen, Punkte 4 -11 beachten.
Sickerwasser :
- Die Kabelklemmen prüfen, Befestigung und Montage des Kabels
mit den Kabelklemmen

Prüfen Sie, daß das Anschlußkabel flexibel ist, wie im Punkt
3 beschrieben.
B) Überhitzung: die Beschädigungen kontrollieren: Glas, elektrische Teile, die Fassung....
- Prüfen Sie die Spannung des Anschlusses und ob die Spannung 230-240-250 Volt ist.
- Prüfen Sie, daß die Leuchte fest in einer Kiesschicht eingebettet ist.
ACHTUNG: - Eine um 10% höhere Spannung als Standard verursacht eine Erhöhung der
Temperatur von 20 Grad und verringert die Lebensdauer der Lampe um die
Hälfte.
- Die Installation in der Erde oder in Torf verursacht eine erhebliche Erhöhung der
Temperatur der Lampe.
