IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Read all instructions before using.

2.  Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside

of the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and

do not use the kettle.

3.  This unit is equipped with a 3-prong grounding-type plug, and should be used only with a properly connected
 grounding-type

outlet.

4.  Use this product only for its intended purpose.

5.  To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, DO NOT IMMERSE the kettle, cord, plug or base

unit in water or other liquids.

6.  Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, push switch to Off,

then remove plug from wall outlet.

7.  Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and while cleaning. Allow the unit to cool before moving

or cleaning it.

8.  Do not let the cord hang over an edge or touch a hot surface.

9.  Do not place on or near a hot burner or oven.

automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and

 re-boiling.

11. Place the kettle on a stable, flat surface where the children can’t reach it.
