This Trimmer uses one “AA” battery 

(sold separately). To install the 

battery:
Rotate the Battery Cover (23) counter

clockwise, then pull it off the end of 

the Trimmer Body. 
Insert one “AA” battery (sold

separately) into the battery 

compartment with the polarity placed 

as indicated. 
Replace the Battery Cover.
