Instructions for Removing Diorama Cover Glass from Haddon
“The Ranch-‐O” (Model #20) and “Davey Crockett” (Model #20) Clocks

*WARNING! : Before removing back cover of clock, be sure the clock
is NOT connected to an electrical outlet or any other power source!
Note:
Before the diorama cover glass can be removed, the back cover of the
clock as well as the diorama background, and the horse and rider assembly must
be removed. For the complete clock disassembly instructions please go to:

To remove the diorama cover glass, first locate the two retaining clips located on
the studs just above the glass on the inside of the clock case. To remove the
retaining clips, use a small flat-‐blade screwdriver to carefully bend upwards one
or both of the inner tabs of each retaining clip. The retaining clips can then easily
be removed from the studs.
Tip #1:
Be careful not to make contact between the screwdriver and the
glass to avoid chipping or breaking the glass (if the glass is to be reused).
Tip #2:
Do not apply sideways pressure to the retainer clip studs to avoid
breaking them loose from the clock housing.
