General information and safety warnings 
 

 

Keep away from children.  

 

Do not submerge in water.  

 

When disposing of batteries please ensure they are correctly recycled.  

 

Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries could 
cause leakage of caustic acid that could cause skin burns and 
damage materials it contacts.  

 

When installing batteries, observe correct polarity.  

 

Requires 1 x AA 1.2v 300mH Ni-MH battery (included).  

 

Keep batteries out of the reach of children.  

 

Wear gloves and use caution when removing leaking batteries. Make 
sure you dispose of batteries at your local recycling centre.  

 

Note:

 

The solar panel must be placed in a well-lit location for maximum 

sunlight absorption. Anything that shades the panel will affect the 
brightness and lighting duration. At least 6 hours (preferably 10-12 hours 
if possible) of sunlight is required for the lights to illuminate. 

 

 

Remember!

 During winter months charging time will be reduced due to 

the limited daylight hours.  

 

Not suitable for commercial purposes.

 

 
Before first use  
 

 

Remove the light from packaging. Store or dispose of packaging in the 
correct manner.  

 

Unscrew the top of the light house anti clockwise as shown in the 
image below.  

 

Turn it over and locate the battery compartment.  

 

Gently pull the plastic tab out which is sticking out of the battery 
compartment.  

 

Turn the ON/OFF button to ON.  

 

Return the top of the light house to the base and secure by turning 
clockwise.  

 

Note: The solar panel must be placed in a well-lit location for at least 6 
hours to charge the battery.
