Play Electronic Bingo with Dora and her friends! Dora guides you through two
types of play in both English and Spanish. She’ll ask: “Do you have the cow?
¿La vaca?” The first player to match their tokens to the pictures on their Game
Cards wins. Hooray! We did it!

Electronic Bingo-Buttons

On/Off—

This wakes up the unit from sleep mode or puts it into sleep mode.

Play—

This will cause Dora to call out a Bingo item. Pressing Play after a Bingo

will start a new game.

Repeat—

This will

cause Dora to
repeat the last
Bingo item she
called.

Bingo—

This will cause Dora to say “Bingo” along

with the Bingo fanfare and light show (after a
minimum of 6 presses on the Play button).

The object of the game

Get Bingo! Be the first player to cover all 6 Bingo
items with your tokens.

Set up:

• Using the On/Off switch on the back of the unit, turn Electronic Bingo on.

Dora will greet you and you’ll hear the Bingo tune.

• Decide which items you’d like to match for this game:

Match the colors of the Stars

(red side of card) or

Match Dora’s animal friends

(blue side of card)

• Dora will say, “Put in your Backpack Card.” Insert the Backpack Card into

the slot at the top of the unit so it’s aligned with the lights. Dora knows
which way it’s facing so she knows whether to call out colors of the Stars
or types of animals.

• Each player should get his own Game Card and orient it properly. Dora will

help! She’ll say, “Turn your Game Card

blue

side up” for animal matching or

“Turn your Game Card

red

side up” for color matching.

• Separate the token tray from the Bingo unit and keep all 24 Bingo Tokens in

the tray for all players to choose from.

• Finally, Dora will say, “Press Play to start.” Dora is now ready to guide the way

as you play!

Let’s Play! Come on… ¡Vamos!

• When the player presses Play, Dora will call out either a color or an animal in

both English and Spanish, depending on which side of the Backpack card
you’re playing. For example, “Do you have the Star that is blue? ¿Azul?” Or,
“Do you have the frog? ¿La rana?”

• You’ll see the lights dance around, flash and hear the music play. Then, a

light will land on the item that Dora just called.

• If you did not hear what Dora said, simply press the Repeat button. Listen

and look: you’ll hear the item again and see its light flash.

• If the player has not pressed the Play button within one minute after the last

button was pressed, Dora will remind you that she wants to keep playing! Do
you? If not, and no button is pressed for another two minutes, Dora and
Electronic Bingo will go to sleep.

• Each time Dora calls a Bingo item, all players should check their Game Cards

to see if they have that item. If so, get a Bingo Token from the tray and place
it on your Game Card, covering the item.

• Players may take turns pressing the buttons on Electronic Bingo to listen

to Dora.

Note:

If a player loses his place by knocking over his Game Card or tokens, just

look at the lights on the unit to determine which Bingo items have already been
called.

Winning-Bingo!

• Play continues until one player gets Bingo and has covered all 6 items on
their Game Card. Now it’s time to press the Bingo button. Dora will
congratulate you! You did it!

Note:

If no one has pressed the Bingo button after she has called out all 9

items, Dora will remind you: somebody must have won! Who got Bingo?

Want to play again?!

So does Dora! Keep playing Bingo. Switch the Backpack card if you like or
trade Game Cards.

Technical Notes

Sleep Mode

: When you’re finished playing, press the On/Off button. Dora and

her Electronic Bingo will go into sleep mode. If the unit is already asleep, press
zthe Play button to wake up Dora.

Removing the Backpack Card:

If the player removes the Backpack Card during

the game, Dora will know. She’ll say, “Insert the Backpack Card.” Or, if you’re
done with the game, she’ll get ready to go to sleep. Goodbye!

Storage:

The Game Cards and the Backpack Card store in the slot in the back

of the unit. The tokens are stored in the tray in the base of the unit.
