ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

Carefully remove the fixture and hardware from package
and make sure that no parts are missing by referencing
the contents on right.

Please remove the Battery tag from inside the fixture before use.

(Figure 2)

Each fixture has an ON/OFF button.  Before installing torch, press ON/OFF
button to the ON position.  Device will automatically turn on at night
and turn off at dawn.

Assemble all post sections together using couplers to achieve desired
height and attach plastic  ground stake (if required) to the bottom of
assembled post.

Secure torch head onto assembled mounting post after using male and
female couplers to achieve desired height.

Select a location with full direct sunlight and push the ground stake
into the ground. Insert ground stake deep enough into the ground to
ensure fully assembled torch is stable and does not tip over.
Do not push on the torch head or you may damage the device.

NOTE: When installing product in hard or dry soil, water the soil
several hours beforehand to make the installation easier. You can
also break up the ground lightly with a stake or a fork. Don’t force
stake into the ground as excess force can break or bend the stake.

CHOOSE THE BEST LOCATION FOR YOUR TORCH

CAUTION: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THREADED RODS!

Select a location with full and direct sunlight.  If installed in a shady area, the battery

will not fully charge and will reduce the night-time working hours.

Operating time should be up to 8 hours with full charge.

For optimal performance at night, the solar panel should receive a minimum of 8

hours of sunlight per day.

Do not install near night-time light sources such as porch lights or street lights. These

light sources may cause the solar panel to turn the product off.

Solar torches work independently of each other because

they are not wired. Torches should not be placed closer than

5 feet from one another.
