CLEAN  AND  MAINTANENCE 

Ensure  the  Coolabah®  Bug  Zapper  is  disconnected  from  its 

power source before performing any type of maintenance.  
The electrified grid is self-cleaning, however if there are any insects left between the vertical 
hanging grids, blow away with an air blower or use a long handle paint brush to dislodge. Do 
not remove the cage of the bug zapper to clean the grid. 

 

DAYTIME  PESTS:

  wasps,  beetles  and  flies  are  odour  or  heat  seeking  and  do  not  respond 

primarily to black light UV light, however increased numbers of these pests can be lured to 
your Bug Zapper with baiting. Bait such as honey can be applied to a piece of cloth and hung 
from the underside (use of lures is also recommended, available on our website) 

 

 

STORAGE: 

Store in a cool dry place when not in use.  Clean vertical hanging grid (as directed 

above) if required. 

 

WASTE PRODUCTS:

 Dispose of expired energy saving Black Light UV globe in with general 

waste, they are non-recyclable
