Safety

•  Make sure that the light or other load device connected to the timer 

is designed for use with a 230 V AC, 50 Hz power supply.

•  The timer is only intended for indoor use.
•  Make sure that the plug of the connected load device is pressed all 

the way into the socket of the timer.

•  Never expose the timer to impacts, shocks, rain or moisture.
•  Make sure that the electrical socket that the product is plugged into 

is easily accessible in case it and the connected product need to be 
quickly disconnected from the mains electricity.

•  Do not connect products of this type to each other.
•  Do not cover the product.

Setting

Connection

1. Set the desired operating time on the timer.
2. Make sure that the light (or other load device) which is plugged 

into the timer is switched off before it is plugged into the socket of 
the timer.

3. Plug the timer into a wall socket.
4. Set the selector switch (1) to desired position. 

 

- The 

ON

 position will bypass any settings on the dial and the timer 

socket will be on all the time. 

 

- In the 

TIMER

 position the timer socket will be controlled by 

the setting dial.

Care and maintenance

•  Unplug the timer from the wall socket before wiping it clean with 

a dry towel.

•  The timer should be unplugged from the wall socket if it is not to be 

used for a long time.

•  The timer should be stored in a dry, dust-free place.

•  The mechanical timer can be set for up to 48 on/off operations 

per day. The minimum length of operation (1 segment) is 15 minutes.

•  Set the on/off operations by pressing in the segments (1) on 

the setting dial (4).

Example:

 to switch a light on at 22:00 (10 pm) and off at 23:00 (11 pm):

1. Press in the four segments from “22” to “23” on the setting dial.
2. Set the current time by turning the setting dial clockwise until 

the current time is indicated by the black arrow (2).

3. Set the selector switch (3) to 

TIMER

 to control the on/off operations 

via the timer.

4. The light will now come on at 22:00 and go off at 23:00 every day 

and will be off the rest of the time.

This symbol indicates that this product should not be

throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent any

incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed 
in for recycling so that the material can be disposed of
