1 ASD Detector Modules
1.1 Intended use
Detector modules are used as detection and analysis unit in aspirating smoke detectors.
Devices include the following types:
DM-TP-50(80), DM-TP-10(25), DM-TP-01(05), DM-TT-50(80), DM-TT-10(25), DM-TT-10(25), DM-TT-01(05).

1.3 Rules and conditions
Installation and Operation
Installation must only be carried out by trained and skilled personnel. Please follow your local
regulations concerning installation.
Operation of the devices is not intended for personal, family or household use and applications.
This product is supplied by SELV circuits (Safety extra low voltage) in which hazardous voltages are not generated.
Thus special safety measures are not required.
Carefully open the detector unit and insert the detector module. Use the ribbon cable to connect the detector
module to the connection on the motherboard.
The detector module settings are configured via the RPS software. The DIP switches on the detector module have
no function.
There are no restrictions of using the devices in commercial or industrial areas.
Delivery and Selling

The product may only be transported in its original packaging.

Handle with care and avoid hits and shocks.

Absolutely avoid damaging of the packaging or the product itself.

Avoid extreme temperatures during transport.

Not for sale to private persons but to trained and experienced persons only.

The product must not be used for personal, domestic or any other purposes unrelated to business activities.

Disposal
The device including the accessories and packaging shall be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling. Do not
dispose of power supplies into household waste. Please follow your local regulations on appropriate disposal.
