INDICATORS

 

The AT-280 and AT-480 fanouts have four LEDs. They are as follows:

 

Power —

 

 Indicates that power is present from one of the DTE AUI ports.

 

Transmit —

 

 Indicates that packets are being transmitted to the external transceiver attached to the 15 pin 

connector located on the top of the fanout.

 

Receive — 

 

Flashes when packets are received from the external transceiver attached to the 15 pin con-

nector located at the top of the fanout.

 

Collision —

 

 Indicates that collisions were detected by the external transceiver.
