1 Hardware Connections
Do the following to make hardware connections for initial setup.
WAN
Connect your modem to the
WAN
port using the cable that came with your modem.
LAN
Connect your computer to a
LAN
port using the yellow Ethernet cable from the
package.
POWER Connection
Use the power adapter from the package to connect the
POWER
socket to an
appropriate power source.
The LEDs
Look at the LEDs (lights). When you connect the power, the power
LED (
) blinks and
stays on once the device is ready.
The LAN
(
) and WAN (
) LEDs turn on if the corresponding connections
are properly made.
