The following table describes the labels in this screen.

MAC Filter
LABEL DESCRIPTION
Port
Use this drop-down list box to select an ADSL port for which you wish to configure
MAC filtering.
MAC
Type a device’s MAC address in hexadecimal notation (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx, where x
is a number from 0 to 9 or a letter from a to f) in this field. The MAC address must
be a valid MAC address. You may specify up to ten MAC addresses per port.
Add Click
Add
to save your changes to the MSAP2000 AAMS’s volatile memory. The
MSAP2000 AAMS loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use
the
Config Save
link on the navigation panel to save your changes to the non-
volatile memory when you are done configuring.
Cancel Click
Cancel
to begin configuring this screen
afresh. Port
These are the numbers of the ADSL ports.
Active
Select this check box to turn on MAC filtering for a port.
MAC
This field lists the MAC addresses that are set for this
port. Delete
Click
Delete
to remove a MAC address from the list.
Apply Click
Apply
to save your changes to the MSAP2000 AAMS’s volatile memory.
The MSAP2000 AAMS loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so
use the
Config Save
link on the navigation panel to save your changes to the
non-volatile memory when you are done configuring.
