6.5 Wireless Security - No Security
If you do not enable any wireless security on your ZyXEL device your network is accessible to
any wireless device that is within range.
Enable Intra-
BSS Traffic
Intra-BSS traffic is traffic between wireless stations in the BSS (Basic Service Set).
Select this check box to enable Intra-BSS Traffic.
Enable
Breathing LED
Select this check box to enable the breathing LED, also known as the ZyXEL device
LED.
The blue ZyXEL device LED is on when the ZyXEL device is on and blinks (or
breaths) when data is being transmitted to/from its wireless stations.
Clear the check box to turn this LED off even when the ZyXEL device is on and data
is being transmitted/received.
802.11 Mode Select 802.11b Only to allow only IEEE 802.11b compliant WLAN devices to
associate with the ZyXEL device.
Select
802.11g Only to allow only IEEE 802.11g compliant WLAN devices to
associate with the ZyXEL device.
Select
Mixed to allow either IEEE802.11b or IEEE802.11g compliant WLAN devices
to associate with the ZyXEL device. The transmission rate of your ZyXEL device
might be reduced.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the ZyXEL device.
Reset Click Reset to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
