Only operate the device if the voltage
stated on the type plate matches the
voltage and frequency of your socket.
For this reason, do not connect the
device to multiple sockets or extension
cables.
Make sure that the connecting cable
is not kinked or pinched and make
sure that the connecting cable and
the device do not come in contact
with sources of heat (e.g. hobs, gas
flames).
When unplugging the device from the
socket, always pull on the mains plug
not on the cable. Do not carry the
device by the connecting cable.
Never touch the power plug and the
base with wet hands.
The device must not be operated by
an external timer or separate remote
controller.
Never touch live parts. This can cause
an electric shock and in the worst case
lead to death.
As long as the mains plug is plugged
into the socket, live voltage exists in the
device, even if the device is switched
off.
After every use and in the event of dan-
ger or a defect, unplug the mains plug
from the socket immediately.
Unplug the device from the socket prior
to cleaning it.
Never unscrew the device and do not
make any technical modifications.
Observe the notes on the requirements
for the installation location:
Use a solid, level, non-slip and heat-re-
sistant surface with sufficient load-bear-
ing capacity. Select the installation
location so that children cannot reach
hot surfaces of the device.
The device is not intended for installa-
tion in a wall cabinet or built-in cabinet.
Do not set up the device in a hot, wet
or humid environment.
The socket outlet must be easily acces-
sible so that the plug can be pulled out
quickly if necessary.
Never immerse the base station in
water or other liquids, do not clean it
under running water and never put it in
the dishwasher.
Only switch on the device while the
lid of the stainless steel container is
closed completely.
Do not move or transport the device
while frothing is in process as hot
liquid can otherwise escape.
Observe the maximum fill quantity
when filling the stainless steel contain-
er. Hot liquid can escape if the filling
quantity is too high.
Use special caution when opening
the lid as the contents of the container
may splash out.
Never the stainless steel container
on a cooker or hotplate, but only in
connection with the base station.
Never touch rotating parts of the
device.
