ZVOX Speaker Wall Mounting Information
The AV157 speaker has two M3 threaded sockets in the enclosure back. Two
10mm length screws are provided for these sockets and with the correct
keyhole sloted hardware you can use these sockets to secure the ZVOX
AV157 speaker to most flat surfaces, like a wall or shelf. Longer screws may
be necessary
NOTE:
It is the ZVOX AV157 owner’s responsibility to ensure the
any such mounting is safe and secure. Each of the two mounting sites should
be able to secure a five pound (3 KG) object.
Headphone or Subwoofer Output Minijack
This minijack port provides a signal for headphones or an amplified subwoofer.
The signal level from this output varies with the volume level of the ZVOX
speaker. This same port can be utilized to connect a Universal Bluetooth
Transmitter/Receiver for a wireless audio experience to wireless headphones
or for receiving music from a Smartphone or tablet. (Not included)
Note:
Accuvoice 1 (AC1) feature is constantly enabled through the headphone
out port. If you wish to mute the output of the ZVOX speaker while listening to
headphones, press and hold the MUTE button on the ZVOX speaker remote for 5
seconds. (See more on page 6). Compatible Subwoofers must have own power
supply and a built in crossover frequency adjustment knob.
TV to AV157 Audio Signal Cable Guide
The AV157 includes one optical digital signal cable and two analog signal
cables. Two of these three cables will connect from most TVs or cable/
satellite set top boxes to the digital or analog input on the AV157. In the rare
instance your TV has an optical minijack audio output, an optical miniplug to
standard optical plug cable is needed. (not supplied with the AV157 but sold
seperately).
Duel Inputs Allows Two Audio Source Inputs
For instance:
If you have your TV's optical digital cable connected to Input 1 on the ZVOX speaker, you can also connect to a second audio source output from the
ZVOX speaker’s 2nd Input minijack. This allows you listen to a music-only sources without needing the TV on. This could be music from a smartphone, tablet, a disc
player or the “music only” channels from a cable or satellite set top box or computer.
When ready to hear an audio source connected to Input 2, press the INPUT button on the ZVOX remote to choose the second input. An analog signal source will
appear as “In2A”. A digital signal source will appear as “In1d”
