Step 4 – Controlled Device Setup
Plug device such as home theater receivers, Blu-ray players, DVD players, VCR’s, gaming consoles, and powered
woofers into the outlets labeled “
Controlled
”. These devices will not draw any power when the Master Device
is powered OFF. These devices will only have power available when the Master Device is powered ON, or when
the Temporary Controlled Power Button has been pressed.
Step 5 – Constant Device Setup
You may want to maintain power to some devices such as DVR’s, cable boxes, lamps, chargers, and routers at all
times. Plug these devices into the outlets labeled “
Constant
”. Devices plugged into these outlets will remain
powered as long as the Main Power Switch remains in the RESET position.
Step 6 – Verify Functionality
Power ON the Master Device and confirm that all of the Controlled Devices have power available.
TEMPORARY CONTROLLED POWER BUTTON
The Temporary Controlled Power Button provides 90 seconds of power to the Controlled Outlets. This function
provides access to the controlled devices without having to power ON the Master Device.
