Operating system module
The functions of the transmission convergence board software
modules are described below:
Main control module
f
Implementing the initialization of the modules according
to their startup order.
f
Implementing the database synchronization between the
core board and the NOWC board during power-on.
f
When the system is configured with two core boards, the
main control module implements the changeover of the
two core boards, including service changeover, clock
changeover and network management changeover.
Service configuration module
f
NE attribute configuration: The attribute configuration is
stored in the NE attribute base and is used to set the
protection mode of the NE and to determine whether the
S1 byte will be used to select the NE clock and NE
management mode.
f
NE installation configuration: Various line cards can be
installed interchangeably in the slots of THE ZXA10 S300
system. When the line card starts, it requests the core
board for the board type of the slot actively. If the board
type is not matched, the NE will report the alarm of the
unmatched board installation. The alarm of unmatched
installation is processed same as other types of the
alarms.

Time slot configuration: The core board receives the time
slot configuration command from the SMN, operates the
