Copying a Message
You can copy text messages from the nano-SIM card to the phone storage.
1. On the Messaging screen, tap > Settings > Manage SIM card messages.
2. Press and hold a message and then tap Copy to phone memory.
Changing Message Settings
Tap > Settings in the Messaging screen to change Message settings.
• SMS Enabled: Tap to change your default SMS app.
Storage:
• Delete old messages: Delete old messages as limits are reached.
• Text message limit: Set the maximum number of SMS messages saved per
conversation.
• Multimedia message limit: Set the maximum number of MMS messages saved
per conversation.
Text (SMS) messages:
• Delivery reports: Request a delivery report for each SMS message you send.
• Manage SIM card messages: Manage the messages stored on your nano-SIM card.
• SMS priority: Set the priority level.
Multimedia (MMS) messages:
• Auto-retrieve: Automatically download multimedia messages.
• Group messaging: Set to use MMS to send a single message when there are multiple
recipients.
• Delivery reports: Request a delivery report for each MMS message you send.
• Roaming auto-retrieve: Automatically retrieve MMS messages while roaming.
• MMS validity: Set a specified time limit.
• MMS creation mode: Set the level of control for creation of MMS messages.

Display Settings:
• Bubble and background: Select a dialog bubble and background.
• Preview messages: Select to preview messages on the lock screen and status bar.
Notifications:
• Notifications: Show message notifications in the Status Bar.
• Select ringtone: Choose a ringtone for your incoming messages.
• Vibrate: Make your phone vibrate when a new message arrives.
Signature settings:

Edit signature: Edit your signature, which can be added automatically to outgoing
messages.
• Add signature: Add the signature to all outgoing messages.
Wap push switch:
• Enable wap push receiving: Allow your phone to receive WAP push.
Emergency alerts:
• Vibrate alert: Make your phone vibrate when emergency alert messages are received.
• Receive emergency alerts: Choose which types of emergency alerts to receive.
• Notification for unread alerts: Set a notification reminder once, every 2 minutes,
every 15 minutes, or never.
• Alerts notification preview: Preview settings for alert tones and vibration cadence.
• Speak alert message: Use text-to-speech to speak emergency alert messages.
