To use NFC technology on your phone, your phone must be
within approximately 0.78 in. (2 cm) of the NFC-enabled smart
phone, smart accessory, NFC-enabled access point, or smart tag
that you want to exchange information with. When information is
transferred over an NFC connection, your smart phone vibrates.
To turn NFC on or off:
Use the NFC menu to enable or disable your phone’s NFC
capabilities.
1. Touch

2. Check
NFC
to turn NFC on. Clear the check box to turn it
off.
Android Beam
Android Beam uses NFC to beam app content to another
NFC-capable device. When this feature is enabled, you can
beam app content on your phone to another NFC-capable device.
For example, you can bring the devices close together, and touch
your phone screen to beam browser pages, contacts, videos, and
more to the other device. The app determines what gets beamed.
To turn Android Beam on or off:
1. Touch

Home Key > Menu Key > System settings >
More > Android Beam

Slide the switch at the top of the screen to the
ON
or
OFF
position.
