Showing Animation When Opening/Closing Windows
1. Tap
Animation
in the display settings.
2. Select the animation type you like.
When you want to disable this function, select
No animations
.
Adjusting Screen-timeout
When not in use, your phone will turn the screen off after a set length of time. If that
time is too long or short, you can adjust it.
1. Tap
Screen timeout
in the display settings.
2. Select your preferred time from the list.
Sound Settings
By tapping
Home Key > Menu Key > Settings > Sound
, you can adjust the sound
settings, such as ringtones and alerts.
Choosing Your Ringtone
1. Tap
Phone ringtone
in the sound settings.
2. Scroll through the ringtone list and select the ringtone you want to use.
3. Tap
OK
to save.
Setting the Default Notification Ringtone
1. Tap
Notification ringtone
in the sound settings.
2. Scroll through the ringtone list and select one as the default notification ringtone.
3. Tap
OK
to save.
Switching Your Phone to Silent Mode
1. In the sound settings, tick the
Silent mode
check box.
2. You can also switch to
Silent mode
by holding the
Volume Key (down)
.
If vibration is disabled, the silent icon
will appear in the status bar.
Switching to Vibrate
In the sound settings, tap
Vibrate
and choose the condition for vibration. If your phone
is already in
Silent mode
, the icon
will appear in the status bar when vibration is
enabled.
Adjusting Volume
1. Make sure your phone isn’t in
Silent mode
.
2. Tap
Volume
in the sound settings.
3. Adjust the ringtone volume, media volume, alarm volume, and the notification vol-
ume.
4. Tap
OK
to save.
