4.10.5 Security Settings
Enter the “
Security Settings
” submenu. Here you
can set the security options of your mobile phone to
avoid the illegal use of your mobile phone and SIM
card.
Note: You must use the correct
handset lock code
to enter the security setting submenu.

SIM password
The PIN number can prevent the illegal use of
your SIM card. Enter the “
SIM Password
” submenu.
Here you can make the following settings:
If your PIN number protection is currently inactive,
select “
ON
” to activate the PIN number protection.
The next time you turn on your phone you will be
asked for your PIN number;
If your PIN number protection is currently in use,
select “
Off
” to turn off the PIN number protection,
or select “
Change PIN
” to set a new PIN number.
Please enter your old PIN number, new PIN
number and re-enter your new PIN number in this
order, according to the prompts.
Note: If you successively enter your PIN
