Connection Troubleshooting Tips
If you are having trouble connecting to the Internet, we
recommend you first determine whether your V3 is using a WAN
IP address. Then, depending on the answer, determine which of
the tips below best fits your situation.
To determine whether your unit is using a WAN IP address, open
the
System Status
page (click the
System Status
icon on top of
any page in the
Zoom Configuration Manager
) and click the
WAN Status
button. If you have a WAN IP address, it will appear
on this page. (If you forgot how to log in to the
Zoom
Configuration Manager
, see page 7.)

If you have a WAN IP address, skip to page 15.

If you don’t have a WAN IP address AND you are
—a Cable Modem User or
—a DSL PPPoA or 1483 Modem User
perform a
Release/Renew operation
as described below.
