Assembly and preparation
Attach the base (5) to table using suitable
bolts. Check that the grinder is securely
attached and level. If required, a piece
of soft wood can be inserted between
the base and the workbench to damp
vibrations.
Fit the two rests (3) using the adjustment
handles, and secure them in the desired
position.
Fit the two spark screens (1) on their
mounting brackets (2) above the protective
guards. The gap between the rest (3) and
stones must be no greater than 2 mm when
the grinder is in use.
Insert plug in mains socket.
Grinding
Position the rest in front of the stone to be
used by loosening the adjustment handle,
adjust the rest to the required position and
then retighten the handle.
Switch on using the on/off button (4) and
allow the grinder to reach full speed before
beginning to work.
