User Guide
STEP ONE: Connecting the Adapter to the Radio
1. Always turn off your radio before connecting the adapter.
2. Plug the adapter into the audio accessory side connector of your digital radio.
3. On some models of radio, you may need to tighten a retaining screw to ensure that the
adapter remains attached.
4. The radio Turn on your radio. Because no wireless audio accessory are paired with the adapter yet, received signals
should be muted.
5. The Talk button on the BSA-93001 Adapter will function as a Push-to-Talk button. However, the internal microphone
in your portable radio will be disabled as long as the BSA-93001 Adapter is attached. Mic audio will be muted until a
wireless audio accessory is successfully paired to the adapter, or a wired audio accessory with a microphone is
plugged into the Quick-Disconnect port.

The ZONITH Bluetooth Side Adapter BSA-93001 allows people to use Bluetooth headsets and wireless
audio accessories with your digital radio. The Bluetooth adapter also enables the ZONITH Bluetooth
Positioning system to track its location and continuously monitor its movement within a building.
QUICK START
1. Connect the adapter to a digital radio as shown.
2. Pair the adapter with a compatible wireless audio accessory.
3. Connect a wired audio or PTT accessory to the Quick-Disconnect
accessory port (optional).
4. Test and use.

Radio Connector
This port connects the
adapter to the side connector
of the radio.
Talk Switch & Status LED
Used to put the adapter in pairing
mode. The LED flashes a message
to let the user know the status of the
adapter. Once paired with an audio
accessory, this switch is used to
activate the radios Push-To-Talk
function.
