NOTE:Zone Defense part number R.AVS.RC.V1 uses a USB power cable and contains a dual USB car 
charger.

NOTE: Zone Defense part number R.AVS.RC.V2 uses an in-line power cable and does not contain a dual 
USB car charger. 
 

Installation Instructions 

1.  Ensure camera faces out the front of the windshield and that the field of vision is not obstructed. 
2.  Remove the cover from the adhesive mount and camera lens. 
3.  Apply camera to the interior of the windshield in a horizontal direction directly under or in place of the 

rear-view mirror. 

4.  Install power cable to camera so as not to obstruct the view out of the windshield. 
5.  For R.AVS.RC.V1: Connect power cable to USB cigarette lighter adapter. For R.AVS.RC.V2: Connect 

ground and ignition wires for power. 

6.  Activate the mobile application using the instructions you received via electronic mail. 
7.  Once installed, it is not recommended to move the adhesive bracket to another position on a windshield 

or a rear window.
