Battery charger measurement cycle
The measurement cycle measures a battery’s capacity. If a battery has not undergone a full charge/discharge
cycle and is placed in the battery charger, a measurement cycle is automatically initiated.
The measurement cycle can take
5 to 10 hours
. Do not remove the battery from the battery charger until the
measurement cycle is complete, or the battery’s charge may be reduced. If the battery is removed before
the measurement cycle is complete, the next time the battery is inserted into the battery charger, the
measurement cycle automatically restarts.
After the measurement cycle completes, the battery is either ready to use (battery charge status indicator on
the battery charger panel illuminates) or has failed and should be replaced (battery alert indicator on the
battery charger panel illuminates).
If a battery has failed the measurement cycle, do not use it. Contact "Technical Support" (page
