SECTION 3 – INSTALLATION

Step 4:

With the weighted hose end in the pool, cover the other end (the end with the
proctector mesh) tightly with your hand. Move to the skimmer and attach this
hose end to the regulator the AD Flow Valve.

Step 3:

Fill the hose with water by placing the end over a return inlet.

Step 2:

Put wheel deflector on outer extension pipe of Automatic Pool Cleaner.

A. REMOVAL OF DIAPHRAGM ASSEMBLY

1. Remove the Wheel Deflector from the Outer Extension Pipe.
2. Loosen the Handnut by turning it counter clockwise at least one (1) full turn.
Do not remove the Handnut completely.
3. Turn the unit over and grasp the Diaphragm by the flange. Pull the Diaphragm/
Inner Extension Pipe assembly out of the Inner Body.

B. EXAMINATION

1. Examine the Diaphragm for damage or blockage.
2. If damage exists, take the complete Automatic Pool Cleaner head to a pool
professional for replacement of the diaphragm.
3. If no damage exists, re-assemble the unit. The Diaphragm self adjusts on 
re-installation.

C. RE-ASSEMBLY

1. Slide the Diaphragm/Inner Extension Pipe assembly into the bottom of the Inner
Body and continue until the Diaphragm is set flush into the inlet plate.
The flange of the Diaphragm should sit within its matching receptacle.
2.Turn the unit over and tighten the Handnut by turning clockwise until it stops. Do
not over tighten! Hand tight is sufficient. If the Outer Extension Pipe will not spin,
loosen the Handnut, spin the Outer Extension Pipe and retighten the Handnut.
3. Re-install the Wheel Deflector.

Reinstall the Automatic Pool Cleaner,
turn the pump on.
Check the following:

a.)  Tightness of fit at installation point.

b.)  Possible stuck valves.

c.)  Debris blocking lines.

d.)  Pump impeller.

e.)  Addition of solar or other charge 

in filtration system adversely
affecting flow.
