3. Follow the replacement device user instructions to set it up. When the replacement
device is connected, the ZL-100 will try to recognize it. If it succeeds, the
“Device is
successfully
replaced” notification will appear on the screen.
4. Refresh the web page to see that the device is now reachable. The Atom identifies it as
the original device.
Maintenance
This section describes maintenance procedures that must be performed regularly (for example,
firmware update) or might need to be done on occasion. The procedures described are:

How to Reset an ZL-100 to Factory Settings
To return an ZL-100 to its factory default settings:
1. Click
on the
ZLINK
sidebar. The
Settings
page is displayed.
2. Click
Reset hub to default
.
3. Click
Yes
when prompted to confirm, or
No
if you decide not to reset the ZL-100.
4. If you confirm the ZL-100 reset request, the ZL-100 returns to its default settings. The
My
ZLINKs
page is displayed.
The image of the reset ZL-100 now displays a default name and color.
5. Click on the ZL-100 image.
The rooms display no images, and there are no devices assigned to this ZL-100.
Note: If this controller is the primary controller for your network, resetting it will
result in the nodes in your network being orphaned and it will be necessary after
the reset to exclude and re-include all of the nodes in the network. If this controller
is being used as a secondary controller in the network, use this procedure to reset
this controller only in the event that the network primary controller is missing or
otherwise inoperable.
How to Work with ZL-100 Firmware
Regular firmware updates enable ZLINK to enhance smart hub functionalities and operations and allow
for quick fixes of any problems that might arise. The ZL-100 might have one of three types of
firmware version:

Up to date
●
Outdated supported version
●
Outdated unsupported version
