Thefieldofview(distance-
to-spot) is the area of where
temperature is being measured via
infrared.
The distance you hold the
thermometer away from
the product determines the
dimensions of this area.
The further away from the product,
the larger the area being measured.
The laser helps indicate where the
thermometer is measuring.
Hold the thermometer about
6” away from the item you
want to measure for accurate
temperatures.
