Caring for your Zippie chair
If you experience difficulty using your Zippie Voyage, please see your Authorized Sunrise Medical Supplier. Your
supplier can best ensure adjustments and maintenance are done properly, which will prolong the life of your device
and ensure your on going happiness with it. Your happiness and safety are very important to us.

Check Parking Brake
Before each use, Check the function of the brake and visually inspect the brake
components and cable for wear.
Inspect castors and Castor Locks
Inspect castors for excess dirt and grime. Clean with a damp cloth if required.
Check upholstery
Before each use, check for tears or fraying. Wipe down upholstery with a damp cloth.
Visually inspect for loose
hardware
Every three months, make sure all hardware is properly tightened. If you find loose
hardware, contact your Authorized Supplier for a solution to the issue.
Check Quick Release Axles
Every three months, remove the quick-release axles to see if they are dirty or loose.
Wipe them clean with a damp cloth. Make sure they lock into place.
Inspect Tilt or Recline Cables
Visually check cables and attaching points for looseness or signs of wear.
Check wear on tires
Tires should have at leat 3.0 mm (1/8)” of tread and should not be cracked or broken.
Inspect Plastic components
Visually check plastic components for cracking or wear.
Inspect Positioning Belts
Check pelvic restraint belt and securing components, for any signs of fraying or damage.
A worn belt must be replaced.
Check Screws and Knobs
Every 4 months, check all knobs for tightness. If parts are missing or broken or worn,
discontinue use of the product until repairs are made. Use only authorised parts.
