Turn off the machine before removing jammed wood blocks.
When loosening a jammed wood block, never edit your log splitter with foreign area stalls.
All safety rules in the chapter "General safety" are to be obeyed. The manufacturer is not
liable for injury to persons or animals or damage to property as a result of improper han-
dling of the device or the non-observance of safety rules.

After you have finished your work, allow the splitting blade and the arm move to their topmost
positions (parking positions). Then stop the motor and unplug the machine from your power
supply source. Allow the machine to cool down. After that, you should clean and, if necessary,
lubricate your machine. This log splitter may only be stored in vertical position and at a dry and
clean place. Ensure that the oil tank cap is well closed and that no oil will emerge during stor-
age.

Split wooden blocks and wood chips are dangerous. Keep your surroundings clean so as to
avoid danger.
