Unplug battery and safety switch (if equipped) before all maintenance and
settings!
Serious injury due to unintentional or automatic activation of the machine!
Always wear protective gloves while working on the cutting tool!
The machine does not require extensive maintenance. If malfunctions and defects occur, let it be
serviced by trained persons only.
N O T I C E
Clean your machine regularly after every usage
–
it prolongs the machines lifespan and is a pre-
requisite for a safe working environment.
Repair jobs shall be performed by respectively trained professionals only!
Check regularly the condition of the security stickers. Replace them if required.

15.1
Maintenance plan
Before each work:
Check the cutting tools (tight fit, sharpness, damage)
After each work:
Cleaning the cutting tools:
Remove contamination, remains of blades etc.
Spray the cutter bar (blades must be standstill) with maintenance oil to ensure that the hedge
trimmer has a long service life. Preferably use environmentally friendly lubricants
Place the hedge trimmer on its side and apply a thin film of oil to the cutter bar.
15.2
Cleaning
Once a month the machine and all its parts must be thoroughly cleaned.
N O T I C E
The usage of certain solutions containing ingredients damaging metal surfaces as well as
the use of scrubbing agents will damage the machine surface!
Never use running water or a high pressure cleaner to clean the machine.
After each use, clean the hedge trimmer using a dry cloth or a brush if the machine is very dirty.
Keep the ventilation slits clean and dustfree.
15.3
Storage
Store the machine in a dry and frost-free place (10-25 °C).
Store the battery and the machine separately.
Charge the battery before storing the machine in winter.
Place the protection hood on the cutter bar.
