Cylinder Disposal
Steel CO
2
cylinders are fully recyclable.
To dispose, confirm the cylinder is empty by:
• Observing the regulator which should read 0 bar
• When shaken you will not be able to detect the movement of liquid within
the cylinder.
Any remaining CO
2
should be drained before discarding.
Do not
dispose of full CO
2
cylinder.
Do not
discharge into any place where accumulation could be dangerous.
Discharge to atmosphere in a well ventilated place.
Discharge to atmosphere in large quantities should be avoided.
To drain cylinder, in a well ventilated area, attach the regulator to the bottle
and open the valve until the gas cylinder is empty.
Once empty,
do not
dispose of with general household waste but take to your
local recycling centre.

End of Life Disposal
Cleaning
Do not use strong, corrosive spray or abrasive cleaners / chemicals.
Clean the casing, tapware, external filter, piping and all other fittings with a soft
cloth and mild soap and water.
Do not spray water over the tap as it may damage the low-voltage electronics.
Caution: Should any of the plastic fittings accidentally come into contact
with cleaners with a PH level less than 4, hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide
or any other aggressive chemical the affected component must be replaced
immediately.
Undersink units must never be located near, or cleaned with water jets.
The louvres on the sides of the chiller unit need to be kept free of dust and lint
to permit free flow of air through the vents. They should be checked regularly,
at least monthly, and dusted or vacuumed.
Sanitising carbonation can may be required when the quality of sparkling water
deteriorates. Please contact your local Zip service provider.
