Zip ChillTap - Installation & Operating Instructions - CT1/140 - June 2013 v1.01

Technical Data / Installation requirements

•  Power supply:

220-240V AC 50Hz for connection via a double pole switched fused spur with a minimum breaking

capacity of 13A. The circuit should be protected by a suitably rated RCD.

•  Operating temperatures:

 5ºC -  35ºC.

Installation Requirements:

•  A potable water supply with a minimum supply pressure of 0.07 MPa - 0.7 MPa  (0.7 bar to 7 bar).

For best results we recommend minimum static pressure of 0.2 MPa (2 bar).

•  NOTE!

We recommend you supply and install an isolating valve in the supply line before the connection to the product as

an independent means of isolating the water in order to carry out maintenance or servicing.

•  Site the chiller unit into the cupboard as close to the proposed outlet tap position as is possible to minimise the

length of tubing exposed between the chiller unit and the tap.

•  Allow at least 50mm around the chiller unit to permit free airflow. Both the top and the front of the chiller must

remain accessible for servicing purposes.
